What an oil filling machine does
Edible oil filling differs from water in three ways: the product is viscous and temperature-sensitive, drips are expensive and visible, and the fill level must be precise because oil is sold by volume. The machine therefore uses piston or mass-flow filling with drip-free nozzles and temperature-managed product paths.
Configuration
Heated product tank and jacketed piping for oils that solidify or haze, piston fillers or flow meters depending on the accuracy target, anti-drip nozzles, and capping with plugs or spouts. Rinsing uses the same neck-grip principle as water lines.
Suitable containers
PET and HDPE bottles from 250 ml to 5 L, and tin cans on request. Oil bottles often use drip-caps and foil seals — confirm the capping head accepts your closure.
Selection considerations
Declare the oil type (sunflower, olive, blended) and filling temperature: viscosity at filling temperature decides the valve type. Olive oil producers who need darkness protection should plan colored glass and reduced-light handling at the same time.
