What a labeling machine does
The labeler applies body, wrap-around or front-and-back labels with correct positioning — and it is the last machine that touches your product's shelf appearance. It follows the filler-capper and must handle the line's full output without becoming the bottleneck.
Configuration
Common types: self-adhesive (pressure-sensitive) labelers for PET and glass, hot-melt glue wrap-around for full-body labels, and sleeve labelers with a shrinking tunnel. Containers are fed by timed screw and spaced by a star wheel; sensors detect container position so label placement follows the bottle, not the clock.
Suitable containers
Round, square and oval PET or glass bottles. Label material must match the container surface and the product's storage conditions — condensation on chilled bottles needs water-resistant adhesive.
Selection considerations
Decide label type before buying: the machine families are not interchangeable. Check changeover parts for your label size range, and confirm the machine tolerates your bottle's fill level and shape variation.
