Large bottle water filling machine
Large-format water (3-10 L family packs) sits between single-serve PET and 5-gallon rounds: too big for a standard small-bottle monobloc, too small for barrel lines. The machine handles heavier bottles with wider neck finishes and slower, more stable filling.
Configuration
Heavy-duty neck handling, filling valves sized for the larger volume, and stronger conveyor drives for the bottle weight. Capping uses larger caps with higher torque. Because family packs are often multi-packed, plan the downstream packing station together with the filler.
Suitable containers
PET bottles 3 L, 5 L, 10 L with wide cap finishes. Bottle design matters at this size: thin large bottles collapse under grip, so the bottle and the machine's handling must be designed together.
Selection considerations
Confirm the blow molder and the filler accept the same bottle spec — large-format PET has fewer standard neck finishes than small bottles, and mismatched specs are the most common delay in these projects.
